We offer a variety of effective, functional and fun group programs through our integrated team.  Our groups are uniquely designed and held by licensed and certified professionals in the area of Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, Feeding, and Music.

We offer Group Programming for children of all abilities, focusing on skill development through play and fun.  Our skilled professionals have designed groups that assist with social, speech, language, feeding, gross and fine motor, and sensory development in an engaging group setting.

TUESDAY

Club Social Celebration: Social Detectives Edition–Ages 8-10 (Ages flexible)

Come join us for an 8-week group based on Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social-Thinking teachings. This evidence-based curriculum is used to teach students social communication skills in order to improve their daily lives at school, home, and community. Each week students will learn how to be “flexible thinkers” in different situations, understand others’ perspectives, and learn what is “expected” and “unexpected.” Students will have the opportunity to become “social detectives” to understand social aspects of our world. Led by two Speech-Language Pathologists.

5:00-6:00pm – Runs January 8-February 26

Cost: $300

 

Club Social Celebration: Social Detectives Edition–Ages 11-14 (Ages flexible)

Similar to above, but our for older students. This weekly 8-week group focuses on Michelle Garcia’s teachings, as well as age-appropriate social skills, group collaboration and participation, listening skills, question asking/answering, leadership and friendship building. This group will target higher-level executive function skills, perspective taking, and the “hidden rules” of language.  Students will have the opportunity to become “social detectives” to understand social aspects of our world.  Led by two Speech-Language Pathologists.

WEDNESDAY

Club Social Celebration: Junior Classic Edition–Ages 5-7

This group is designed to increase social-language skills in young children. Many children demonstrate difficulties playing with others, continuing conversations, and being a productive listener in a group setting. CSC Junior is a weekly 8-week group that focuses on fostering these skills via interactive games, structured activities, and team building tasks. A team of Speech-Language Pathologists will co-lead this group. Join us for a fun filled, positive social experience.

THURSDAY

Club Social Celebration: Little Boppers Edition—Ages 2.5-3.11

This group was created for young children who are receiving early intervention services. Taught by a team of Speech-Language Pathologists, our instructors work with families who want to help their child increase receptive/expressive language, articulation, and/or social language skills. Each week is theme-based to bolster vocabulary through song, books, crafts, and free play.

Club Social Celebration: PLAY Edition Ages 6-10 “Play!—The work of childhood is play!” –Mr. Rogers

A NEW Group with an Occupational Therapy focus. Join us for an 8-week group designed and led by an Occupational Therapist and Speech-Language Pathologist. According to the American Journal or Play, length of time spent in daily play time has declined across America. Lack of play is learning to the rise of anxiety, depression, and problems impacting emotional and physical development of youth. This group will challenge kids with games that will get them moving and communicating with one another.  Participants will explore activities that promote aerobic exercise, muscle strengthening, and peer interaction through team building—all while having fun. Grab your sneakers and join us for this exciting group! OT goals will include: Proprioceptive (body awareness), Vestibular (balance, movement), and Self-Regulation (anxiety, self-control, attention).
